CryoCore® custom-designed cryogenic heat exchangers (BAHX) are the most energy efficient and cost effective way to solve your heat exchanger requirements for a variety of applications, including cryogenic gas processing and liquefaction. Compared to conventional shell and tube designs, CryoCore® units require less compressor horsepower, generate up to 10 times greater heat transfer per unit volume, and provide up to 20 times more UA per unit volume. These benefits, combined with multi-stream capability and tighter approach temperatures (less than 2°F (1°C)), produce significantly lower equipment, installation and operating costs.
CryoCore® heat exchangers are perfect for Industrial Gas/Air Separation (IG), Natural Gas Processing (NGP), Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Petrochemical (PC) applications. The units are versatile enough to be used in a number of services, including main exchangers, reboilers, subcoolers, condensers and liquefiers.
